LIVE

the way tomorrow said “this is a show about women and the atrocities committed against them by men and a society that has always and still stands behind men. this is a show about women who are victims of sexual violence, this is a show about their stories being told in their most raw and truest form without being watered down, this is a show about redirecting the blame back to the perpetrators instead of the victims, this is a show about refusing to forget that women have suffered so much and there was no justice”. and yes, it’s also about a lot of other things, but this is a recurring theme, like they don’t want the audience to just watch one episode with a sa storyline, cry and then forget about it. no. you cannot forget about it, because it’s so prominent, always there throughout the centuries. you are not allowed to forget.

Netflix Correction Corner…
I understand that translating curse words are a grey area but…

The correct translation that Jun Woong said was 변태 쌔끼 (byun tae sae kki) aka you sick/perverted bastard not psycho. This was a response to Song Jin Ho saying… “Hearing something like that all of a sudden makes me feel so good. Maybe I really am crazy?”

Here Jun Woong didn’t say bastard to be more precise he said 개 자씩 (gae sae kki) aka son of a bitch. That’s why Song Jin Ho as a response, starting barking…

Also it’s kind of funny the first time medical help has been suggested in this show was a scene set in Joseon 400 years ago when Joong-gil mentioned seeing a doctor to Ryeon because she kept having traumatic nightmares.

Judging from the preview, next week’s case will be about comfort women and if the returning lady theory is correct, then it’d be perfect to tie it all up to Ryeon’s arc that I’m hoping begging on my knees is gonna be the focus of the last 2 or 3 episodes because I feel it’s about fricking time we got her story
