#my garden
These days last year *sigh*
Love these days of the end of the summer …even in the city.
Still don’t like in the city.
Hiatus
Sweet l'il bugs, I’ve got to focus on my yard for a week (or so). Right now it’s all mud, detritus and sunken stones (and daffodils!), but in about 5 weeks all the plants will have sprung up and it’ll look like it does in this picture. Well, it’ll only look like that if I spend a week or so crawling around on my hands and knees, digging out pavers and rearranging plants and the like. (Let me brag: here it is last year. I’ve been working on this garden for 13 years, now!)
So imma be out there wrecking my back, and y'all just read fic and relax, meanwhile. @ladyunderthemolehill is doing a fine job with @wangxianficfinder, so it’ll be chugging along, and y'all won’t be entirely abandoned.
I’ve got a handful of Drafts with y'all’s most recent recs and author announcements, and I’ll start posting those when I get back, so don’t despair, you haven’t been lost or discarded. I’ll close my inbox for the duration, per usual, so y'all hold on to your asks.
