You hated him. Okay, maybe that was a slight over statement, but you weren’t exactly pleased with your boss. It was New Year’s Eve and you had plans to spend time with your family like you did every year. You’d go to the beach and watch the firework display before heading back home and getting cozy on the sofa, nursing a mug of your favourite hot beverage and watching the countdown on live television. i can not begin to tell yall how many times i’ve yelled (out of love, out of love) at aqua as this was written. a couple of days (maybe 2 or 3?) is all it took to put this MASTERPIECE (and im so serious about this word because the depth of the relationship and emotions…yea, YEAH. i got all that and it’s was everything) together. the teeny tiny snippets and very vague descriptions of jungkook’s dom demeanor did NOTHING TO PREPARE ME FOR WHAT I JUST INGESTED. like, it’s something about this dom jk that felt so….comforting?? YALL GOTTA HEAR ME OUT HOLD AWN. he’s so in love, like he got it bad for yn. and i always say this about aqua’s fics but it’s so true: the emotions are felt and it’s because of the descriptions of their actions and the dialogue between the characters (including the guys in the dressing room; laughing and joking around.) it draws you in and when those emotions heighten..you feel it. the way he was running through the hotel, the bear hug, the ENTIRE SMUT SCENE HELLO, aftercare in the bed, the way he rubbed her shoulder; like little things and the way they’re written just BUTTERS MY BISCUIT. friend, i tell you all the time how PHENOMENAL you are at painting a picture with words and i know this was a new kind of jk for you and you did an exceptional job in writing this. i know i kept sending you THAT gif but it was because i could not find words in that moment to accurately explain what i was feeling. i was going thru it because it was sooo freaking good. GREAT. BETTER THAN GREAT; it was all just- wow. WOW. i loved it beyond words.
