Sky, it’s time we had a talk. We know you know we think Everything Is Embarrassing was like, the most fun and gpoy song of 2012, and kudos to you and your people on that, but we need to take a minute to check in with you about something that’s just been bugging us…

No no, we’re not asking for tickets to Virgin Mobil Free Fest, though we are upset we’re not seeing you perform there.

No, it’s not that either, though congrats on that inferno movie you’ll be in or something. Yeah, we’ll definitely go see it and, no, no, not even fake pretend we’re students to get cheap tickets, we promise.

Well, no. But, yeahh, we actually are a little peeved we’re *still* waiting on that debut album or anything but that’s not it either.

Sky. Girlfrand. We are here today because we want to talk to you about looking like a trainwreck. All. The. Fucking. Time.

What happened? Remember 2010? Remember 2011? Even the early part of 2012 was pretty okay. Remember your long wavy “I’m a diva, eff you bbs” hair? Remember your ABC family punk eyeliner perfection? You totally nailed that barely legal and totally killing it thing. Plus your voice was like a dancey dancey melting popsicle with a joke on the stick.

And now we come across these pictures of you, bb, and like, when did undereye bags become the new Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner from CVS? When did a shitty flannel become the new patterned fit ‘n flare dress and vintage leather handbag? They didn’t, let me tell you.

You’ve let Terry Richardson photograph you way to many times for your own good, tbh. Is this a cry for help? No really. I mean, the man can do what he wants, but like, we get it. Unflattering photos as art. If we’re being serious, Sky, the only thing worthy of capturing your tru beauty is Instagram, Valencia filter. #duh

We don’t know how to make this better, Sky. Baby steps, I suppose. Want to try painting your nails with us tonight. You also look like you may need a nap. Can we make you some tea?
