I love how each season of Stranger Things has like, the core cast split into three groups.
1: Hopper and Joyce; Nancy and Jonathan (and Steve); Mike, Dustin, Lucas, Eleven (honorable mention: Will) 2: Joyce, Mike, Bob, Hopper, Eleven (honorable mention: Will); Nancy and Jonathan; Steve, Dustin, Max, Lucas 3: Hopper and Joyce (and Alexei and Murray); Erica, Robin, Dustin, Steve; Mike, Lucas, Max, Eleven, Will, Nancy, Jonathan (Nancy and Jonathan are kind of like, a fourth group for a while)
Should be interesting to see how it works out in season 4.

if st4 does not have a scene in which mike and will dance terribly with their eyes closed to some queer-coded banger in will’s room, making a drastic comparison to how free mike felt in that scene compared to in s3, when he was making out with el to music and also expressing the secrecy and depth of queer romance in the 1980s but also generally then i. don’t. want. it.
