August 2, 2013. Two special things about this superseries shoot. First, it features shirts from the UK. I fell in love with the red Bear U tshirt–it had both a Harry Potter and Eaton kind of feel, both of which I wanted to pervert. Later shots show a Lonsdale polo. Perhaps more special are the boots–caulked WESCOs, a birthday gift from my mentor Thor. They were well, well used and in really, really bad shape but LokiMadMonk of FetLife did an incredible job of restoring them.
The caulks draw blood, and they like the taste of it.

Well folks, I’ve come to the end of my pictures. This superseries, the Vintage series, is the last of what I have. I’ll continue to post videos and stories on Friday at 7 and Sunday at 7 until I run out of those. As for pics, more will be posted when more are taken. That doesn’t usually happen unless I have new gear to show off, so it might be a while. In the meantime, it’s all here for you to enjoy.
A bit about this series. I didn’t intend to buy the pants. I’m not even sure why I was in Leatherwerks that day. But they were on the used rack, they called to me, I tried them on, and knew they would be mine. $85. Amazing. I snapped up the T and the socks and was good to go. Somehow, I have an intuitive sense of what to wear and how–what items of gear go with what. When I had this all together, I just knew it was right.
It’s a long series. I’m stretching it out, 3 pics a day. You’ll be sick of it by the end. But I’ve never been fond of goodbyes, even temporary ones. So forgive me if I draw this out.
Besides, the pics are really really good LOL!
