Style Swap Lookbook Ft. The League of Adventurers™
Back in January, @gunthermunchdidTHIS EDIT of the Munch boys dressed in each other’s style. It inspired me to take my “League of Adventurers” (Alexander Goth, Lucas Munch, Max Villareal, and Elsa Bjergsen) and show what they would look like if their styles were switch-arooed. I didn’t realize how dramatically different their fashion sense was until I did this…I also realized that Lucas, Max, and Elsa have such distinct aesthetics whereas Alexander’s style is just flannels and jeans and very basic in comparison lol. But hey, as silly as it is…I had fun making this (note I said making and not linking… the linking took forever smh).

Paisley Carter is driven, resilient, highly intelligent, witty, pragmatic, unwaveringly inclusive, woefully stubborn…and a bit lonely. This is not to diminish how massively successful she is for her age (27), but to acknowledge that the path of success can feel both gratifying and yet a bit isolating at the same time. Nonetheless, her two degrees (with honors) and a recent career upgrade are achievements she wears with great pride. As a private investigator, her life is always exceedingly busy, and she has yet to strike up a good work-life balance, so she brings her job home with her more than she’d probably like to admit. But, at the end of the day, she finds comfort in the fact that there’s not just one way to have a happy and fulfilling life, even if the world tells you otherwise (especially when you’re a woman). Her time for slowing down and finding a “great love” will come…even if it is a bit annoying to see all her friends and loved ones settling down before her.
“I’m not going to do a lookbook for all the Carter siblings,” she said… and now, here we are… 4/6 siblings done. But I’ve been having so much fun sharing my OCs with you guys, I just couldn’t help it! This one is actually my favorite I’ve done so far because Paisley’s style is sooooo out of my comfort zone, but I just kept coming up with different outfits. Can you tell her favorite color is pink? Ha! I hope you guys enjoy this lookbook. ♡

I absolutely love this show, love this story, love these characters, and love the actors who played them. I’ve re-watched Heartstopper over a dozen times and have found immense joy and a sense of belonging from it, and I know a lot of people feel the same way.
So, that being said, I am so excited to share this little tribute with you guys. I’m proud of how this turned out because I’ve never made real life actors/characters into sims but it was a ton of fun and a huuuuuuuge challenge. I hope I did the actors justice (lol) because I really did try my best.

Their outfits are inspired from the comics more than the show, although I’ll admit that I couldn’t resist putting Nick in a similar sweatshirt to the one he wore to Charlie’s band concert in episode 6 because it was one of my favorite looks.

Special recognition:@johnnysimmer for Nick and Tao’s hair. I became a patron yesterday (literally my first and only time ever) just to get these hairs early access; I couldn’t wait until the 21st and no other hairs I tried on them even compared. ♡
Addison is the oldest child in the Carter household, and although she likes to play it cool and come off indifferent or unemotional on the outside, she would do anything for the people she loves. Don’t be fooled: although she’s not particularly expressive, doesn’t like talking about feelings, nor is she a touchy-feely type of person (in other words, if you hug her without her explicit permission she will burst into flames), she is one of the most honest, kind people you could ever meet and if you need advice, she’s full of wisdom and encouragement. She’s a violin prodigy, but she hates the term “prodigy” and rolls her eyes into the back of her head any time someone refers to her as one. She was also born with partial deafness and likes to turn her hearing aids down whenever she’s bored, disinterested, or annoyed with the conversation or event taking place. She hates dresses and skirts with a burning passion and only wears them if forced; she also hates judgey people, crowded places, surprise parties, cooking, hot weather, and hard seltzers. Alternatively, she loves antique teacups, her weekly lunch date with her childhood best friend (Lee), speaking French, classical music, traveling, the smell after it rains, plants, trains, and her wife (Karli) and their kids most of all.
Just in case anyone was curious, looks 3 and 6 are Addison in high school; looks 2 and 5 are her in college. I would consider the remaining looks (1 and 4) to be more current (she’s 37 years old).
