Summary:Clint didn’t look up, the arrowhead still spinning in his hands but the tip always pointed in the same direction, true as a compass needle. Natasha’s gaze followed it, and her shoulders relaxed in understanding. Clint wondered if he should be ashamed to be so easy to read, but the mortification of being perceived was drowned out with the sheer relief of knowing that she could understand what was going on in his head without him having to go through the grueling process of trying to put it into words.
That didn’t mean she would let him off the hook. “Dumbass.”
