i’ll be the first to admit that of the original team, m’gann was the one i found least interesting, but holy shit if she hasn’t been absolutely superb this episode, she’s been an especially excellent badass here and i look forward to seeing more in season 5

Garfield’s depression if definitely spiralling out of control, in over 24 hours, he’s pushing his teammates away, not doing chores/going on missions, buying sleeping pills and taking them, walked away from his acting job, declining help and now he’s pushed his girlfriend Perdita away.
There’s still one more thing that I think that Beast Boy is going to do before his breaking point and that’s push and maybe lash out at M’gann.
M’gann won’t be back for a week and BB could be really bad by then. Now that Pedita knows what’s happening with Gar, she’s not going to keep quiet about this and tell the others. Even if they try to help him, I doubt it will work as Garfield has to ask for help, so it will get worse before it gets better, A suicide attempt or accidental OD could still happen.
As next weeks episode is the mid season final, I have a feeling it’s going to end with a cliff hanger involving Beast Boy.

In today’s episode, he was filming scenes his show and he was struggling due to his depression, so he was advised to take time off.
While this was happening, the world was in chaos, caused by Child, so everyone (The Outsiders, Justice League ect) was out helping. So Garfield will be on his own when he’s back home, which could be really bad.
Last weeks episode we saw lots of pills on the table which could foreshadow he might have a accidental overdose, attempted suicide ect.
I have a feeling it’s going to happen, so I expect the episode ends when his team mates return home to find him unconscious.

Beast Boy seriously needs help, His depression is getting worse, he’s been in his room a lot more, not going out on missions, not doing chores, isolating from his teammates, possibly not eating properly ect, He’s now taking sleeping pills, which is not a good idea with depression.
What are those other pills he’s taking??? they look like they were prescription medication, but for what??? Whatever they are they could be dangerous with sleeping pills
I was literally in shock seeing all those pills and empty bottles, it looks like he’s taken too many, he might have a drug addiction, or worse.
I seriously doubt Beast Boy will die or do the attempted suicide route but you never know with this show. But I do think he could end up having a accidental overdose.
I just hope his teammates, M’gann (When she get’s back), or anyone like Black Canary, to help him soon before it’s too late.
I also just want to say, it’s great that they focusing on metal health this season and going more deeper into it. I don’t usually write about these things as it’s quiet difficult and don’t want to get anything wrong. It’s also quiet difficult to watch because it’s happening in a cartoon show and Beast Boy is my favourite character, I just want to give him a hug and protect him.
I think I just realized the whole point of the Justice League reserve membership storyline. They don’t know it, but they preparing themselves for an impending invasion from the Phantom Zone when the Zods and possibly their followers do eventually somehow manage to escape.
