hello happy new year i’ve finished my first critrole animatic!!
In which the mighty nein (sans fjord and jester, who are off looking for jester’s mom) discuss the hasty pursuit of justice.usually I end up watching animatics that are hilarious and hastily scrawled (in that artistic way that belies how much work goes into them!), so this was a real culture shock, but in the absolute best way.

Thank you very much!! I think I would have liked to do something a little looser/sketchier, but I’m not that level of artist where my looser work looks good. (i don’t mean that self-pityingly, I just try to acknowledge where my weaknesses are lmao)
But I wanted to do something a little different regardless, both with that and with subject matter! The funny moments are really good! Really really good! But as I’ve been rewatching CR, I’m really struck by a lot of serious moments here and there… and I really think they deserve more attention too.
