Told Daddy I needed black sandals for work while he was shopping. Of course he got me Weitzman sandals. They’re plain and black so I figured I was safe and no one would be able to tell they were expensive. Wrong. Vendor walks right in. A cute young sales girl. First words out her mouth “Business must be good” they all say that so I play it off. And extra because business is not good and I don’t need my boss reminded. Followed up with, “it must be, my husband would kill me if I spent $500 on sandals”. I wanted to die.
