Let’s Dare & Live for Today!

The last time I saw Bamboo (the band) was when they performed at The Fort during the New Year 2006 celebration. Aside from Bamboo, there were many bands as well like Itchyworms and Kitchie Nadal to name a few. That show, excluding the fireworks display, had tickets which I couldn’t remember the prices anymore. Since my family with some friends arrived early, we decided to watch the concert first. With no clues how to get in, we just went straight to the nearest section of the venue and viola! We were there in front, dancing and singing along their songs. However, I was only a 4th grade student that time so that moment was actually quite normal for me, except that it was Bamboo performing right in front of us.

Fast forward to August of this year. One of my friends, suddenly thought of inviting others to watch the concert of Bamboo and Yeng. Without a doubt, I immediately said yes because I have always been a fan of him since the era of “Hoy! Pinoy ako! Buo aking dugo..”

Although we were not so close just like before, the concert was purely amazing! I just can’t explain how amazing it really was. Every words that Bamboo uttered was a light to the fire. It ignited the concert. It was burning every negative emotions of the audience, leaving nothing but joys. As for Yeng, it was the light of the dark sea. Bringing smooth waves through her calm voice.

Definitely, I will not forget this concert as it was my first legit one. Hope to watch more!
