“DO they let you keep yours?”– This thought provoking image draws a strong parallel between non-human and human mothers and emphasizes the obvious: all mothers love their children, regardless of species.

Animals used as commodities are also treated as such. For that reason, it is important that we tell their individual stories and bridge the gap between animal exploitation and the ways in which society collectively contributes to it.

If animals could speak our language, they would ask, “do they let you keep your children?” They would share with us the trauma of being enslaved and the tragedy of having their children ripped away from them. They would look into our eyes and beg that we stop this violence.
