I don’t think non-artists realize just how many poses artists do for their own drawing reference (or otherwise ask our friends to do some pretty extravagant poses for us hahah). This is my icon’s art that I should have released sooner…I cropped Yiuna’s pose in this one but I did do my icon’s full pose in front of a mirror, which makes things faster than drawing from imagination. Capturing the right feeling/energy/mood can be a challenge at times, especially if you have use one hand to shoot a picture, wish I could clone myself sometimes. I highly value the emotion in a lot of my art, so the gesture is important. I dance for fun and it definitely helps with posing too, hahah.
