I was tagged by @unionofopposites to compose a playlist by making an acrostic of song titles based on my tumblr URL. 

F - From Gagarin’s Point Of View, e.s.t.

C - Calling You, Holly Cole. 

E - Eyes Wide Open, Blanco White. 

I’ve added links to the songs on YouTube, with the exception of the Peter Elkas track. If you can find a file it is worth a listen. I dropped Spotify a few months ago for their shabby treatment of musicians, and tolerance for misinformation among their podcast stars. I haven’t found a good way to share tunes on tumblr yet.

I realized that the tone of these songs is mostly low key, if not outright melancholic. I thought the cartoon by Andy McKay was fitting and funny, even though I’m feeling pretty chipper these days. 

According to the rules of the game I’m supposed to tag folks to play along, but I’ll leave that to your discretion. That said, I’d love to hear what @inlandwest would come up with.
