Demons of the Auris Mythic are magical beings from a parallel plane of existence known by various names, most commonly as the Demon Realm. Demons are nonphysical beings and can take many forms. They gain power and satisfaction from consuming souls, particularly those of humans, and often interfere in the mundane plane to do so.

They are generally categorized as Greater Demons and lesser demons, with the former having much more intelligence, creativity, individuality, and power.
