Twinkie update: Unfortunately her remaining tail developed necrosis and she required a secondary amputation. She’s recovering well (2 more weeks of post op) and staying as chill as one can possibly be. It’s now a nub more like that of a chicken butt, and I am thankful they were able to get all the damaged tissue and for her still being around. This was such a freak accident, but I am grateful to have my baby and for her to be taking her recovery in strides. She’s absolutely looking forward to her catnip treats and playing with toys soon!
