Twinkie update: Unfortunately her remaining tail developed necrosis and she required a secondary amputation. She’s recovering well (2 more weeks of post op) and staying as chill as one can possibly be. It’s now a nub more like that of a chicken butt, and I am thankful they were able to get all the damaged tissue and for her still being around. This was such a freak accident, but I am grateful to have my baby and for her to be taking her recovery in strides. She’s absolutely looking forward to her catnip treats and playing with toys soon!
Thank you to those who have sent her cat treats and gifts! Thank you to all who have continued to ask about her and show kindness to her and myself.
