Raising empowered girls is so important to me. My daughters have grown up with constant girl power messages. Sometimes I think it goes in one ear and out the other. I was thrilled the other day when Kennedy’s big sister told her about Rosie the Riveter.  She had bits and pieces from her History class and I explained why the iconic image was so important to women. They decided that they wanted to recreate the poster with Barbie.  Of course I was beaming all over the place! It is important to celebrate our strengths!! Check her out! Yes We Can!
