It’s been a long time since I’ve updated Tumblr. I’m now 1 year and six months on T. Thought I should show a pic of what I look like since it’s been so long.

The reason for that was because I was 100% focused on raising money for my top surgery. The GoFundMe I’d been posting over and over did help me raise just shy of about $2,000. Some really fantastic strangers really stepped up to the plate and donated huge amounts. And so did a few of my good friends.

So even though I got little to no response from most people, it was that one in one hundred that really made the difference. If you were one of those people, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I could not have made this a reality without you. 

I have saved just enough to cover travel, the hotel fee, and the money I will be missing for being out of work for the 6 week recovery period. I don’t have anything to spare for the surgery itself, so ALL of it will be going on the Care Credit Card. I will have yet another massive debt added into my life, but with the student loans and all the credit card debt back from when I was unemployed and starving several years ago, what’s another bill?

Anyway, I wanted to come back on and tell any followers who may still follow me, that now that I have a surgery date for March, I will be updating this page fairly regularly once more.

Now that I’m further in my transition, I want to start doing things like posting work-out videos, talk about the protein shakes/bars/recipes I use, maybe do a shot video, and of course, when the surgery comes, I’ll have some posts about that during my recovery too.

So I have a lot of exciting things planned for my tumblr page now that I’m no longer focused on raising funds. Look forward to it! And I hope I still have followers after such a long break!
