“I came across another juvenile jewel beetle in Nasu in Tochigi Prefecture. This guy with a teddy bear head shape on its carapace fell on my sleeve when a monkey shook the branches of a tree I was walking under. I was surprised to see my question was already answered when I arrived, but thought others might enjoy another photo of this neat bug.”
