Today a man named named Art walked into the shop carrying this 1964 @coltfirearms 1911 Government model series 70. He sits down and tells me how his commander gave it to him after Vietnam. He’s had it ever since but can field strip it because the slide lock won’t give out. I stopped for a moment and thanked him for his service. Art paused for sometime and said “Son, you are the fifth person to ever say that to me”…Art we can never repay the debt we owe you and all Veterans.
