My very first mural and hopefully not my last as it was so much fun to do! Painted in Heraklion, Crete as part of the Lakkos project, an initiative to upgrade Heraklion’s previously most neglected area with a fascinating history.

Using the existing textures and patterns in the wall as a starting point, the design in based on sketches I made at the beach, trying to capture the different patterns in the sea water

If you happen to be in Heraklion and you want to have a closer look, my mural is based just around the corner of the new cultural centre and makes an excellent selfie backdrop So happy to have been part of this project and leave my mark on the wonderful island of Crete.
