The Kiri are creatures that Aeli and co. come across at one point when they travel to another world called Nima.

The Kiri are humanoid-plant type creatures with translucent green skin that is capable of photosynthesis. Their eyes are similar to a cat’s with slits, but their sclera is black and the pupil slit is white.Their mouths are vertical, opening side to side with fangs. And, instead of ears, they have tympanum similar to that of a frog. There are striation patterns across the skin of most of the Kiri’s body, except for on the head, lower arms and legs, and central abdominal region. There are also bristle-like hairs on the legs and feet that dig into the soil when the Kiri are standing or laying still in order to absorb nutrients. The Kiri are also unisex, with both male and female organs (stamen and pistil) much like plants.
