Stephen Deas is my favourite author (or tied with Derek Landy) and he is ridiculously underappreciated. He’s the ‘author of the fantastic’ and he writes fantasy but his stories are so complex and full of plot twists I think the only way to describe it would be the dragon apocalypse. I recomend everyone read his series so that you can emerse yourself in an amazing fantasy world and that he might get the recognition he truly deserves. (And I’m aware I have 2 copies of the Thief Takers Apprentice, the hardback is signed) :3
