Simone in Paris Story One, Part One
Simone awoke in her Paris Apartment, the one she had inherited from a Great-Aunt she had not known. Even a month and more after leaving the Chateau of Roissy, Simone was still having dreams of that place. This time it had been of that terrible time that Father Antoine had whipped and then raped her as punishment for a trifling fault. At least Simone had thought it was trifling at the time. She had been dilatory about completing a research assignment for Father Antoine, and had been chastised in the Roissy manner. She had agreed to abide by Roissy rules when she went there as his research associate, but had never expected to come under the whip herself.
She had seen terrible things done at that place, but it still fascinated her.
She tried to get some sleep, she had been summoned to the Department of the Interior later in the day and was worried.
When Simone had returned from three months at Roissy, she had been worried that her affairs might be in disarray, having been gone far longer than the weekend she had expected. To her surprise, her rent had been paid by the bank, and the cheques deposited there had been larger than she had expected as a Cultural Research Assistant assigned to the Congregation project. At the bank, it was explained that the instructions to deposit her cheque, pay her rent and other bills had come from one of the Directors a Monsieur D_____. He is ever so kind and august, the teller had gushed. Simone then recalled Monsieur D_____, she had seen him at Roissy, savagely flogging Apryl, one of the glamorous blonde twins. Simone did not think of him kindly, but was alarmed at the reach of the Roissy Society.
Now she had a meeting at the Ministry of the Interior. This could not be good. Simone was as afraid as she had been since leaving Roissy.
