my brain connected Achilles to Dante
Pardon my french, but holy shit this is fucking accurate.
Their relationship was not identical to that of Patroclus and Achilles, but I can see parallels between Dante and Grue and Patroclus and Achilles.
This is probably not the only meaningful relationship of Dante’s this is applicable to, but it is the one that is currently most prominent in my mind because I’ve been mulling over a few DMC1 novel related questions.
Dante is just that kind of person.
