Upon looking closely at the graveyard, it seems more rodents have joined us. The Gravekeeper will not be pleased, but the skeletons are certain to enjoy the extra company.

Our Gravekeeper has begun work on the graveyard. We are so very pleased to see our residents again.

A brighter view on the ongoing accident. Our skeleton friend seems to have dislocated a shoulder.

The manor’s Garden Ghost is now beginning work on the grounds. She brought with her an assistant who (quite understandably) has been been too frightened to share her name. The Garden Ghost advised us to call the cat Boo.

We do not advise trusting the balcony. It is, in general, unreliable.

It has been far too long since we last made our voice heard. The Lady of Eidolon Manor fell ill and required our unwavering attendance. She has since recovered her usual deathly pallor and the resurrection of Eidolon Manor continues.

We were pleasantly surprised by the gravekeeper today. Apparently this cat refused to stay buried, and after using perfectly good grave dirt as its litter, well… The ghosts were only all too happy to welcome it into the manor. It’s safer here.

The windows are now uncovered and the cat has come to play with the fish (how either of these two have survived the resurrections thus far is a mystery to us).

When the ghosts actually want to get work done, they are among the most reliable of spirits.

The library has had a series of fits and starts, with the ghosts bickering about every element of its decoration and build. The Librarian has finally settled to matter, and it appears real construction has begun.

It seems a chandelier has damaged the floor of the library. What an unfortunate turn of events. How fortunate the water demon from the bedroom wash basin happened upon the scene before the fire got lively. We generally loathe the lively.

The bedroom is, at last, nearly resurrected, and it would seem that yet another cat has moved into the manor. The grave keeper suspects the cats use grave dirt for litter, but having not witnessed such behaviour, we cannot comment on its veracity. We must admit to having a particular fondness of the Snape portrait. His visage adds a certain foreboding to the room.

The cats are evidently outside as the funeral mouse came to see the bed the ghouls have assembled for the Lady of Eidolon. The Lady did not seem displeased by the creature’s visit, and to be fair, the funeral mouse is a comely fellow with very good manners.

Ah. The ghouls have begun work on the bedroom after much prodding by the ghosts. It must be said ghouls are very fond of peacocks. We may restrict their contributions to one room of the manor.

With the help of the gravekeeper, Scarecrow Jack has recovered his straw and clothing. We imagine his friends will join him shortly.

Pumpkins have started to appear as Halloween draws near, though we do hope the fellows decide to stay on with us after.

Mortals are a strange breed. We have never understood their attachment to material items when the immaterial and incorporeal world is so readily available for one’s enjoyment. The ghosts, however, are delighted by the Doctor’s knickknack collection and have begun haunting the tea set and inhabiting the rubber chicken. We suppose it must be said that ghosts are a strange breed, too.

While waiting for work on the study to begin, the librarian has been busy setting up the attic for our newest resident. While we adore all the art the librarian selected, Tanya Shatseva’s “Blue Valentine” is a life-size favourite we particularly adore.

Our newest resident, the doctor, is expected any day now…which means will will have to fetch the coils and other equipment from the ghosts soon. Last we saw them, they were wrapped in the stolen wires, giggling at the high voltage shocks while guzzling unlabelled elixirs.

Still, the guest struggles.

The wallpaper in the tower room is now finished. The flooring is to be installed next. The ghosts have requested something squishy. Of course they have. We believe the room calls for a firmer approach.
