[공지] 방탄소년단 허위 사실 유포, 명예훼손 관련 고소고발 진행 상황
안녕하세요. 빅히트 엔터테인먼트입니다.
당사는 지난 2016년 11월, 온라인 상에 유포되고 있는 악성루머, 허위 사실, 인신공격성 게시글 등 방탄소년단 멤버들과 당사의 명예를 훼손하는 행위에 대해 법적으로 강경하게 대응할 것임을 공지한 바 있습니다. 이후 해당 법적 고소 고발 건은 현재까지 아래와 같이 진행되었음을 알려드립니다.
당사의 법무법인에서는 지난 두 달여간 회사로 접수된 240,000여건의 증거물과 자료를 면밀히 분류하는 과정을 거쳐, 현행법상 모욕죄와 정보통신망 이용촉진 및 정보보호 등에 관한 법률위반 (명예훼손)죄 등 항목에 해당하고 형사 처벌이 확실시 되는 다수의 고소인들을 정리해 고소장을 작성했습니다.
온라인 상에서 무분별하게 악성루머, 허위 사실, 인신공격성 게시글 및 댓글 등을 적시하여 방탄소년단 멤버들에게 심각한 피해를 끼친 피고소인에 대해서는 당사의 법무법인을 통해 다음 주 초 관할 경찰서에 정식 수사를 의뢰 할 예정입니다. 또한 경찰의 수사 결과를 바탕으로 모든 가용한 법률적 조치를 취해 합의 없는 처벌을 받도록 할 것입니다.
빅히트 엔터테인먼트는 앞으로도 악의적인 의도를 가지고 소속 아티스트의 창작물, 음악 활동 및 사생활 등에 대해 지속적으로 왜곡된 비난과 인신공격을 일삼는 일부 네티즌들의 행태를 묵인하지 않고 선처 없이 하게 법적 대응을 할 것임을 알립니다.

Hello. This is BigHit Entertainment.
Our company has previously notified that we will be taking firm legal procedures against actions that defame the members of BTS and our company, such as the online spreading of vicious rumors, false truths, and offensive posts. We are alerting you that the process of these legal accusations and charges has been as written below.
Our company’s law firm has carefully analyzed the 240,000 proofs and documents that were reported to our company in the past two months, and the various plaintiffs’ complaints were organized into a written complaint, which have legal punishments that are applicable under the current laws regarding contempt and the promotion and protection of information for the information network system, such as defamation.
We are planning to request a formal investigation through our law firm from our precinct police station early next week about the offenders who have significantly caused damage to the members of BTS by indiscreetly spreading vicious rumors, false truths, and offensive posts and comments. Additionally, we will make sure that they receive their punishments without settling, with the results of the police investigation as basis to utilize all applicable legal action.
BigHit Entertainment will not condone the behaviors of netizens who, with malicious intent, consistently offend and criticize the creations, music, activities, and lives of our company’s artists and will take strict legal action without hesitation in the future, as well.
