#20 years oh my gosh
This month we’re spotlighting the #JasonBehr board on #FanForum, a board for the American actor who has starred on #Roswell as well as roles in movies “The Shipping News” and “The Grudge.”
The #JasonBehr board has been on #FanForum for almost 20 years! It opened on #FanForum in September 2000, and is one of FF’s oldest boards. Its a small community of fans and when Jason was on #Roswell, the board was really busy, and episodes were discussed in detail as soon as they’d aired!
The mods highlight that the photo thread remains to be,of their more popular threads, and the members love to look at his old photos! The board also has a thread for Jason’s wife Kadee, which the members love as its their source of photos as Jason doesn’t use social media. Jason has a son, and as much as fans value his privacy, they love seeing him happy with his family. Fortunately, Jason and his wife are very rarely targeted by the paparazzi - most of the photos they have are from KaDee’s social media accounts.
As well as discussing Jason on the forum, a lot of the members have even met in real life. Some of the older members have met each other (and Jason) in real life; meeting up at premieres and various other events. There are members from all over the world, and the mods enthuse that they love getting to know each other and having the “escape from reality the board provides.” One of their oldest and most loyal members remembers being on the board during 9/11 and sharing the horror and concern with other members - it was a place to talk freely without judgement. This truly shows the impact this board has made on their life.
Mod aube_ocean says that the board is the main reason she got into the board so she could have a place to talk about Jason and how his performance on #Roswell mesmerized her. The family thread is her favourite as the members love to talk about the family. Despite being a private family, that they respect, they value any pictures and news they get of the family. The board is a nice group of people, and modded by a great team, are very welcoming to anyone that wants to join them, so make sure to visit their board here!
I loved that Forum. FF was the source of my Roswell fascination back in those days. I met wonderful people and actually made two wonderful friends outside my country and become pen pals. One of them i have met in GB!!
All of that because of the Roswell FF and Jason’s one.
