“Oh wow, you got this for me?” Calum said while taking the plectrums from the fans hands, “thank you very much! That really wasn’t necessary!” He tried to sound as enthusiastic as possible but he was sure that he still sounded really tired and dull. Not to get Calum wrong, he loves his fans which is why he makes an effort to talk to them right after he had just got off the plane. He loves his job and everything that comes with it. The music, his friends, the fans and yes sometimes even the fame. Nonetheless, there was one thing that’d be better than this right now. Instead of all these fans, he would only want one person here right now. You. He had to admit, it was really sad this morning when you told him that you weren’t able to pick him up as planned because your boss decided he needed you last minute for an important file. Little did he know what was about to happen.

*At the office*

“Omg thank you so much, sir! I swear you won’t regret it! I’ll have the file ready by tomorrow morning no matter what!” you shouted while already running out of the huge building. You could not believe that your boss is letting you leave early and even better you might be able to pick up your boyfriend from the airport. You took a glance at your phone to check the time. Shit, it was later than you thought and your jogging turned into running. “Okay so I’ll need at least 50 minutes to get to the airport in this traffic and Calums plane will arrive in 40 minutes fuck,”you thought as you got into your car. You definitely won’t be able to make it on time.

*At the airport*

“thank you yes I’ll definitely read them!” Calum said taking some more pictures with the fans. “Here’s your phone! Haha, I don’t want to keep that.” he joked with one of them before turning around to keep going. And that’s when he saw you running into the airport. Completely out of breath trying to get a look at the huge display in front of you. He couldn’t believe his eyes for a second and just stared into your direction. “Oh my God no way” he stumbled not taking his gaze of you, “excuse me! Sorry!” he said quietly trying to make his way through the few fans in front of him. And that’s when you finally saw him. You couldn’t believe that you hadn’t already seen the many girls in the first place but now, you did not only see them but also Calum. You couldn’t help yourself but run the few meters that separate you two, finally hitting his chest. He immediately engulfed you in his arms and pressed you to his chest as hard as possible. You heard some of the fans making “aww” sounds in the background. “You made it!” Calum mumbled into your hair. “Yes!” you smiled at him, eventually taking a look at his face. Calum was never a fan of massive PDA and showing his affection for you too much in public, so you were not surprised that he did not kiss you. It was okay, you were used to it and you knew that he would make that all up as soon as you would get home, or even already in the car. You were just happy to have him back and he was probably even happier. Both of you definitely could not stop smiling when you were leaving the airport.

This is such a bf calum picture like imagine being out on a date or running errands and he’d see this dog at this cafe and obviously has to pet him because duuuh it’s calum and he’d just be like „hey take a picture of me and this cutie“ and you’d have it as your background forever and I’m just a sucker for calum and dogs sorry not sorry
