can’t remember who’s been tagging “hole theory” but it’s got me thinking: maybe that hole you’re always trying to fill, with desires and the like, is better viewed as a portal…

like what is the difference between a hole and a portal? is it that one has a bottom and the other is a throughway? one’s a destination and the other is a means of travel?

idk, i think transience and movement and change are all relevant to this. room to grow, y’know?
