here’s the thing about how Kilmer’s Batman is written

With the whole ‘hey nice bat’ rorschach  and ‘WHAT NO I DON’T LIKE BATS WHAT’S A BAT’ attitude

it is a wonder that no one knows he’s Batman. He’s awful at covering it. I 100% buy that he’d be confused by his assistant not wearing glasses or having her hair down and being like ‘and who is this?’ and she looks him dead on and meets his eye like ‘are you kidding me’.
