GALTx eNews:When Greyhounds fly? Well, that’s pretty soon.

Shhhhh…. We don’t want to jinx it by talking about it too soon, but we’re in the process of teaming up with GPA Irish Greyhounds To America Program to bring six Irish Greyhounds to Texas! These transports are always challenging and the details are fluid until the hounds arrive. The weather, import regulations, and volunteer availability can all require adjustments to the plan. Right now though, we are planning on receiving four Irish Greyhounds around May 12th and at least two more around May 19th. Long term, we hope to welcome many more!

If you’re in the Dallas area, please consider opening your home to foster an Irish Greyhound by completing a foster application here or emailing our foster coordinator at [email protected]! Watch for our Irish hounds to be adoptable as soon as they rest up from their trip and we get to know them a bit better in their foster homes.
