This blog was originally intended for Gnocchi but over the 5 years since I got him, I accumulated more pets that are also apart of our daily lives and deserve some love here too! I figured since it’s been so long, everyone could get an introductory post (excluding Gnocchi)!

So starting off, this is French Fry! He’s approximately 24 years old, yes, 24yrs! I worked at an animal shelter when we lived in Maine (btw, we bought a house and moved cross country!). He was surrendered due to some serious health issues that ended up being resolved, but he was returned back to his owner against better judgement as he returned just a few months later with more health issues.

This time he was not returned to his owner and his fate was a little muddy. He had a dental done where just about all but a few of his teeth were removed. He needed to be on a special diet and flea and tick prevention as he’s allergic to fleas as well. I ended up taking him home.

He was very scared and basically would not come out of a hidey bed we had for him. He had a little fort in our bathroom for about 2 months before he finally got used to us and started to explore. He’s completely different from the scared cat I brought home back in 2018. He’s such a lovable boy who wants pets and attention from EVERYONE, he will seek you out and lay on you and there’s nothing you can do about it.
