Albrecht von Wallenstein depicted as Mars, the god of war, riding the sky in a chariot pulled by four horses. Ceiling decoration in the main hall of the Wallenstein Palace.

Ancient mythology and symbolism at the time would only depict Mars’ chariot with three horses, four horses were reserved only for Helios, the God of sun.

The ceiling decoration is in the Main Hall of the Wallenstein Palace in Prague, currently the home of the Czech Senate.
