People seem torn on the stoppage. That’s just one of the ones you’re going to get when your sport is built like MMA and uses “intelligent defense” as criteria for stoppage.

Volkov caught Rozenstruik along the cage with a long right hand that I don’t think Rozenstruik thought would land and ends up rocking him badly. He doesn’t go down but Volkov swarmed him until the fight got called off. Another case of Rozenstruik losing position in the cage and getting KOed with his back to the fence. Definitely not saying that Jairzinho has a weak chin (he doesn’t) but I think it’s becoming clearer and clearer that dude can’t just hang back and wait to counter big shots. He’s not Lewis. He’s not going to eat that punishment and stay dangerous.
