The narrative that was will always bug me and continued to carry it into cobra kai is how Daniel stole ali when

1. Johnny and Ali broke up weeks before daniel came in the picture.

2. Daniel wasn’t aware that ali had a hothead ex

Like where was the idea that daniel stole ali coming from when it was johnny who couldn’t accept the fact that ali moved on and he wasn’t. He didn’t move on and even told his perspective of how he perceived Daniel being the asshole to miguel until he got checked for it. If johnny and daniel will work on becoming a team in the future, I hope this is one of the things they can discuss in order to move on.
