Bust portrait of Meztli, a Kalashtar Druid (from DnD) character. He has brown skin discolored in parts with burnt black-orange patches that resemble nebula and star-like yellow speckles. He has yellow eyes that glow a soft warm glow. Letters from a foreign language mark his cheek and forehead. His hair is dark brown, shoulder-length, and he has a well-trimmed circle beard. Meztli is looking up with an expression of intense fear, his hair floating up gently.

So I was seeing OC questionnaires that I wanted to do for my DA babies, and I was contemplating doing the answers in the forms of small comics, which I soon realized is a shit ton of work… But I still have little drawings of the OCs introducing themselves in a breaking-the-4th-wall interview way, and they’re pretty cute, so I thought I would share them

The Wardens:

Naril Brosca is facing the camera with a neutral, friendly smile. She has square jaws, open expressions, and her face is small compared to her broad shoulders. She has short hair with a few strands gathered into small random sections of hair, and a greek-key-patterned tattoo across her forehead. She also has the dwarven casteless mark branded on her right cheek, and a small vertical scar on her left jaw. Naril wears a fluffy scarf around her neck, a Grey Warden amulet, and vial of darkspawn blood. Holding the "interview" sheet, she says "My name is Naril Brosca. I come from Dust Town." Her desk displays a stack of paper, and The Cup of Joining can be seen behind some form of decorations. Her Warden Commander plaque is decorated with a smiley emoji.

Neria Surana faces the camera with a happy smile, her right hand raised in a gesture of greeting. She is an elf with long hair tied into two sloppy low buns, a scar under her right eye, and another scar on her right cheek. She is wearing a type of light Grey Warden chainmail with billowing mid-length sleeves and a hoodless cloak. The cloak's brooch is in the shape of the Cirlce symbol, engulfed in flames. She says: "Greetings. Neria Surana, previously from the Circle of Calenhad. I'm not here on behalf of the Grey Wardens, but I brought some recruitment posters." On one side of her desk is a pile of books topped by a skull. On the other side: a tome, a rose, and an amulet. Her Warden Commander plaque is decorated with little twinkles.

The Hawkes:

Cirilla Hawke is staring at her "interview" sheet instead of the camera, holding it up with her right hand in a scrutinizing way. She have thick, chin-length curly hair and sharp eyes. She is wearing a dressed-down version of her armor, and she doesn't have the blood swipe on her face. She rests her face on her left hand, the fingers absently playing with her hair. She says with a scowl: "Cirilla... Revka... Hawke. But no one uses my middle name anyway. Do you really need me here? Varric & Izzy can do this better than me. They can even make shits up..." A steaming bowl of noodles with a slice of lime sits at the corner of her desk. In front of her is a pile of papers, filled with magical diagrams and doodles of a dog, a bird, and a dragon breathing fire. Her "Champion of Kirkwall" plaque has the word "Champion" crossed out.

Vy (reads like Vee) Hawke sits further away from the camera than the other characters shown before her. She has a rigid posture, holding the "interview" sheet with both her hands, a nervous smile on her face. Vy has very long hair styled into one single braid, all gathered on her desk, with a little flower behind her left ear. She wears a high-collared & form-fitting coat, her shoulders and neck bared, showing elaborated tattoos underneath. She says hesitantly: "I-I'm Vy and, well... also a Hawke... Do-Do I need to sit closer? Smile more?... Speak louder?" On one side of her desk sit a small vase of flowers and a notebook filled with small pieces of paper attached in-between the pages. On the other side is a collection of notes, check-lists and other papers, titled such as "How to ace an interview", "Tips", etc. Her "Champion of Kirkwall" plaque has a "#2" note added to it.

And the Inkies (I have four of them which is… something, but also understandable since DAI is my first Dragon Age game):

Ellana and Edra Lavellan smile brightly toward the camera. Ellana has long braided hair, round face, short eyebrows with long eyelashes. Two ear clips in the shape of a halla crown are attached to each of her ears, and she wears a pendant in the shape of two interlocking ravens. She has the Dirthamen vallaslin, with a short scar across her right cheek. Edra has generally sharper features & longer eyebrows, thick, slightly-curled shoulder-length hair gathered into a half bun and long side-swept bangs. He doesn't wear any further jewelry. Edra has the Falon'Din vallaslin, with a vertical scar under his left eye. They're both wearing soft garments with similar shoulder emroideries. Ellana gestures toward Edra with her right hand, while Edra points back at Ellana with his left hand. Edra is leaning his right arm on Ellana's left shoulders, and Ellana's left hand reaches up casually to interlock her fingers with his. Ellana starts: "We are the First and Second of Clan Lavellan. This is my brother, Edra." Edra continues: "And my sister, Ellana." Then, Ellana says: "It's been a long time since we were last together..." To which Edra replies: "We are in different world states now, so this is a precious occasion " On their desk is a relaxing little nug, a halla statuette, and a tray of candies. They have two simillar plaques that say "Inquisitor Lavellan", but Ellana's has a piece of paper sticked on top saying "#1", and Edra's has a similar piece saying "#2".

Aedan Trevelyan and Asala Adaar sit next to each other on their desk, but Aedan has abandoned her seat in order to settle herself on Asala's lap. Their faces are close together. Aedan is caressing Asala's face with one hand, seeming to have her attention wholly focused on the latter. Asala has one hand placed on Aedan's knee, the other supporting Aedan's waist, and she is looking at the camera with a confident smile. Aedan wears thick, long hair gathered into a high ponytail with a large clip. She has two long scars across her face that look like claw marks, and a simple stud earring. Asala has well-coiffed, shoulder-length tight curls, with some strands going over her horns and falling on her face. She has one scar across the left side of her lips, and another reaching from her forehead down to her nose bridge. They're both wearing ornated Inquisition uniform, Aedan's ornaments looking more shaped and pointed while Asala's are softer, more flowery. "Asala Adaar, and my partner Aedan," Asala says, and her partner confirms with a cheeky grin. "As my Lady said ❤️️", Aedan concludes. Their desk and plaques are left undecorated, with a platter of assorted cookies that they share with each other. The plaques read "Inquisitor Trevelyan" and "Inquisitor Adaar".
