I love Easter. My grandmother was born on this day, over 100 years ago! So she was named Esther, from the Bible. She was so awesome!! The best cook ever, her pies and special recipe banana bread were famous in the Black Hills of South Dakota, where she lived. She was a beautiful shining example of goodness, kindness, generosity and unconditional love.
Easter is a powerful holiday that represents to me that no matter what trials and challenges we go through, with faith, love and trust, we can always rise again. Although I don’t practice any one religion, I love master Jesus and all he represents. We can all learn from his unconditional love and faith in the higher power. He showed the world that these bodies are temporary, it is our souls that are eternal.
My other grandmother was born in London, and she was Jewish. My mom was a Rasta and my dad is a Krishna /Jew. ✌️ #allisone #alllove #happyeaster #onelove (at Playa Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica)
