Uuuuhhhh ok I have one random idea I’ve had in my head for the Dad’s Troubles AU that kind of had to do with an ask I haven’t answered yet and other random stuff because I’m in a vore and dnf mood rn for some reason so here’s that-
Firstly; I gave Dream a lip ring in that au because a. I think it’s hot and b. the idea of Dream doing his whole “I’m a scary human and I’m gonna eat you” bit but instead of George being terrified like every borrower before him he’s apparently the first one to think to just grab the fucking lip ring. So yeah that’s George’s way of rebellion if Dream ever tries to nom him when he doesn’t want to be nommed, cause Dream is honest to god terrified that George is just gonna pull the damn thing out one day. this one has a really shitty doodle to go along with it that I’ll probably post tomorrow cause it’s late rn
Also I don’t think I ever really specified Dream and George’s sexualities in this au (not the real people as always), but Dream is bi with a preference for men (i may change this but idk yet) and George is ace and didn’t know he was into men until recently *coughcoughDreamcoughcough*
Anyway one time Dream went up to Sapnap and started asking weird relationship questions like “how he knew that he was into Karl and Quackity” and “how he let them know he wanted to go out with them.” Dream figured that since Sapnap could snag two normal sized guys he could at least help him figure out his feelings for one very tiny guy. The problem was that Sapnap, as Dream’s best friend, was obligated to not only help Dream out a bit with relationship advice (though suggestions like “take them to a nice restaurant” weren’t great considering his circumstances), but to also tease him relentlessly, especially once Dream started refusing to say who or even what gender this person was. This has been Sapnap, Karl, and Quackitys’ favorite thing to make fun of Dream for recently.
In his defense, though, liking borrowers is far from normalized in this au. It’d be like dating a rat. And even if he knows Sapnap sees borrowers as people, given that his future step son is one, that doesn’t mean he’d understand why Dream would want a romantic relationship with one. Besides, Puffy had also made it very clear to him that she didn’t see borrowers as people. Hell, she still has one in a cage in her room that Dream goes and tries to talk to sometimes. He doesn’t respond much, but Dream has taken to calling him “his brother,” which seems to be at least slightly convincing the borrower that he’s no threat. But still, his guardian would never get it.
Also, George was in his stomach when Dream decided to have that conversation, and only realized what a dumbass move that was when Sapnap started asking specifics about Dream’s crush. Thank god he made sure George was asleep earlier, he just couldn’t be to careful, so he tried to be as vague as possible.
Also fun fact about George, he pretends to be asleep sometimes after being nommed just to eavesdrop on what Dream is doing. He normally does this because when Dream thinks George is asleep, he’ll sing quietly to himself, and George will never admit that Dream’s voice has started to soothe him more than he ever thought it would. However this time with Sapnap was a bit more interesting. (no, George has no idea that he’s the crush, as much as some subconscious part of him wants it to be, he hasn’t thought about his feeling for Dream all that much and he doesn’t think a human would be into a borrower)
