swap random guy for Bones and it’s Jim and Spock’s wedding. They’re both more than a little drunk (hence spock smiling so openly - also he just married his t’hy’la, he’s allowed to be a little illogical) and Jim is telling Spock all about his new husband, how handsome he is, how intelligent, and did you know he’s the best officer in the fleet??? And Spock is just basking in it and Bones is just there trying to rein Jim in like Jim. Jim. That’s Spock. That is your husband.
