Watching the Kenobi trailer, hearing the Grand Inquisitor say (with such glee) that Jedi compassion is what makes it easy to find and kill them. That it leaves behind a trail of hope and life and little stories of people whispering about the mysterious savior who jumped in to protect them, that despite all the hurt the Jedi have endured, they are unwilling to stop helping people…. It all makes you feel so sad. Because when evil is aware of compassion, it is easier for them to track diwn those who keep on giving it without fail despite all the hurt and hearbreak it has caused them along the way.
