in light of knb’s arrival on netflix, i would like to gently remind everyone that fujimaki is a man of many great ideas and a few not-so-great ideas
the most obvious of which being, for example, his treatment of characters such as momoi and alex who are truly wonderfully written characters - but they read as shallow because they’re used in so much fanservice.
but that is not the reason i am here (and you can thank @kuwoko for encouraging me to go ahead and write this again).

you may know me from @kurobasu-writings, where i previously wrote a rant regarding the demonization of akashi’s mental illness. this was posted on may 8 of 2019, so it is relatively old now. i knew back when i posted it that i could not word everything as concisely as i wanted to, so every once in a while i come back to it and i figured i should put out a fresh post for any new fans coming in.
