Gentle touches spur me forward. A feeling I wish to indulge in selfishly cradles my beating chest. I’m certain you can hear it. I’m frozen to the spot with you there. You see, you have a strange power over me, Love. A monopoly over my mind. I’m almost infatuated. I cannot stop thinking about you and your delicate face.

Mornings are one of the sweetest creations of god. A silence I can listen to while you rest by me. Your breaths rise and fall; the drowsy kisses and hushed giggles prepare me for the day. Take time for me too. I vow to you that I will be here if you need me. Call my name in the most delicate of tongues and let me relish in that luxury. You are all I could want for the rest of my life. It is a true pleasure to know you.

The moon may cast it’s silver shine and the sun it’s warm glow, but no light is greater than yours. I take great pride in calling you mine, love. You are wonderful. Words have a strange way of showing it justice. And yet they still fail. The reason being, you are too divine to be understood in that way. My mind is put to a halt when I take a moment with you. Pure serenity.
