do y’all ever remember the way people delivered lines REALLY clearly in your head cause the way they said it was so emotional?? for me it’s when marceline notices pb is crying in varmints and turns around and says “what-?” in the most heartbreaking voice before rushing to comfort her gOd. it’s also in goodbye stranger when dean says “we need you. i need you” to cas in the crypt scene. nobody is doing it like the gays
That entire scene in AT is just wonderful voice acting. In fact, every bubbline moment in the show is beautiful voice acting. They’re all so memorable.
I think another one that is particularly memorable to the fans is Obsidian, where Marceline is flirting with PB, who compliments her music.
“We never get to dance! You’re always the one performing.”
“I have a lot more songs I want to perform. REEEEAAL Sappy ones!”
“Good.I’ve always loved your songs.”
Then it cuts to a flashback of when they first met, with the song from the present day scene continuing over it.
This last line in particular is delivered in such a warm way. I think Hynden put her all in this conversation, knowing it might be her last in the role.
