Am I the only one that thinks that johan wasn’t faking his crying?
I had conversations with people that say he’s just doing that to manipulate the doctors but I think he’s just relieved to see his sister there with him and that the monster (bonaparta) didn’t take her away again. He had planned to die so he was scared that his plan had failed but when he sees her he cries tears of joy and reaches out to her.
It’s so funny to me that kid johan told anna “don’t worry, I have a plan” and then his plan was to fucking die while crossing the czech-german border like ?!?!
__________ After browsing through every little corner of the internet I discovered that ‘Monster’ seems to have a criminally low amount of fanart: disproportionate to how good this manga/anime is, at least. I feel obligated to fix it now.
