#anthonys book is still my favorite of the ones ive read
due to my recent Bridgerton hyperfixation I decided to read Benedict’s book and all I can say is Sophie is an angel and is too good for Benedict and Benny suffers from early 2000s romance novel hero syndrome
Yeah, I really enjoyed the series when I first read them back in the early 2000s… and my standards have gone WAY UP for male protagonists in romance novels since then. Way, WAY up.
(Colin: also the worst.)
(Penelope and Eloise should have ended up as happy spinsters together and I’ve been salty about this for 15 years.)
of all the books, Francesca’s is probably the one I’m most optimistic about since of the reviews I’ve come across When He Was Wicked had the most positive reviews. meanwhile I’m still debating if I want to read Colin’s book or not.
