the robin hood bbc fandom can be summed up pretty easily:
on the show, there is one guy who treats a woman nicely, who has loved said woman since they were teenagers, who is loved by said woman since they were teenagers, who respects her and her choices, who roots for her in all ways possible, who supports her, who just loves her with all of his heart and would rather die than to live without her.
and then there’s the guy who tries to blackmail her into marriage, abuses her, disrespects her and her choices, would rather see her dead than to see her being with someone else… oh WAIT, said guy did actually kill her because he couldn’t accept that she chose someone over him.
and now pls guess which guy is shipped with said woman by the fandom.
PS.: i hope i mentioned at some point that you should really unfollow me if you liked gisborne or shipped gisborne/marian…
