Please reblog this because some of you put fascists on my dashboard unwittingly and I need you to Know… You need to Look…

Can I add the fact that they try very hard to discredit posts exactly like this one by calling them “paranoid” or “delusional” but what they really mean is that they genuinely thought these memes and slogans were brilliantly subtle and actually thought nobody else in the whole world was smart or observant?

“Globalist” is also another word to keep an eye out for. It originates in the idea that Jewish people have no allegiances to their country but instead to some global conspiracy. Ties back into the idea that they secretly rule the world.

Yes, lots of people use Wojaks, “Virgin/Chad”, bell curve, etc., memes and sometimes are using them to ostensibly make the opposite rhetorical argument.

But that’s the whole point of dog-whistles, isn’t it? Being able to blare them completely openly and feign innocence when one of your targets takes notice and complains?

One of the biggest issues with the “Dirtbag Left” is that they so very often are utterly indistinguishable from fascists. Even when not doing “ironic” antisemitism or misogyny or racism or transphobia, if you are clothing yourself in fascist symbols including memes but claiming it ironically, you are helping them to get into more spaces where ignorant and naive people won’t notice.

“What are you so upset about? Nordic Chad is funny. Dented-head Wojak is funny. ‘Cuck’ is funny.”

If you’ve heard, “the medium is the message” before, consider how that applies to memes that are eugenicist, white supremacist, eliminationist, and so on. How subversive are you really being by carrying your message on these things, particularly if their punchline is supposedly neutral (think: “girls with a time machine, 'I am your granddaughter’ ”).

For people who are the targets of fascists, they don’t have time or the luxury of giving you the benefit of the doubt and making generous assessments. So why would you cause a false panic in them by being around them, or by appearing in their social media exactly like a fascist; and why would you want to make it harder for them to discern among strangers instead easier?
